Get Back is a no-budget movie production, which means that these will not be paid roles. There is the possibility for deferred pay, but do not count on it. We are making this movie for the love of it, nothing more. If you love to make movies, and are a talented actor, we would love to hear from you – even if you do not perfectly fit a role's description.


Speaking Roles:
These are minor roles that will generally only be required for one day of shooting, but are all still very important. Screen time ranges from one scene on half a page to multiple scenes over several pages.


Bartender – male
Age range: 45+
A good natured man who is worn down by life and the crime that goes unchecked in the city. Prefer a hefty body type, but is negotiable.

Aaron – male
Age range: 18-21
A local drug dealer/addict – dirty, scattered. He is not a dangerous criminal, but merely a foolish youth amongst professionals. He is very likeable, in spite of himself. Must be able to portray a realistic fear during a hectic shootout scene. May be needed for two days of shooting.

Robert – male
Age range: 18-21
Aaron's friend/supplier. Is only slightly more clean cut than Aaron, but still a kid amongst adults. Will be involved in a hectic shootout scene inside a house.

Police officer – male
Age range: 25+
An average looking cop – probably on the take. One quick scene inside police station.

Gunmen 1-4 – male
Age range: 30+
Hired to perform a drive-by. Must be comfortable acting in a violent shootout scene in public.


Featured Extras:
These roles are more than visual background noise – which is why we are looking for actors. There will generally be no dialogue for these parts and all of them will only be needed for one day of shooting.


Construction Workers – male
Age range: 25+
Number looking for: 3-4
Group of rowdy workers having drinks in a bar after a long night of working. Group dialogue – laughter and cat-calls to waitress.

Diner Patron – male
Age range: 30+
Must appear to be an average guy – a father perhaps. Caught eyeballing main character, revealing that things aren't always what they appear to be.

School Children – male and female
Age range: 7-9
Follow a teacher in single file along a sidewalk. Must react as a group to a couple hugging.

Valet Attendants – male or female
Age range: 18+
Number looking for: 1-2
Talking in a group before one is pulled away to speak with main character. The role for this lead Valet has been cast.

Punks – male
Age range: 18-21
Number looking for: 4
Friends of Aaron and Robert. Will be involved in a hectic shootout scene inside a house.

Suits – male
Age range: 30+
Number looking for: 5
Work for Al. May not wear suits, but will dress age appropriate. Will be involved in a hectic shootout scene inside a house.

Young Prostitutes – female
Age range: 18-20
Number looking for: 2-3
NO nudity or anything graphic. High school drop-outs who work in a house. Will only peek out of bedrooms at the sound of a fight inside the house.

Children On Lawn – male or female
Age range: 3-6
Number looking for: 2-3
Children of the Young Prostitutes. Will only be seen in an establishing shot playing on front lawn of a house.

Mother With Children – female; male or female
Age range: 25-35; 5-10
Number looking for: 2 children
After a shootout on a neighborhood street begins, a frightened mother hurries her children back into the house from the front yard.
